This is a specially designed audiometer to identify patient hearing loss directly in the physicians office. It is a battery driven, easy-to-use, hand held audiometer for screening audiometry. The 4 frequencies and 4 sound levels are carefully selected in order to indicate how severe the suspected hearing loss might be. SA 50 has original TDH39 earphones, one for each ear, mounted in a noise excluding headset. This allows the audiometer to be used in an ordinary office.
