Fetatrack 210

The portable monitoring system

The portable Fetatrack 210 enables the delivery of quality antenatal care in the patient's home, at the health centre or in the hospital ward. It offers full external monitoring capabilities and has a built-in rechargeable battery pack to enable continuous monitoring even when moving the patient from home to hospital or from the hospital room to the delivery suite.
The Fetatrack 210 is based on proven ultrasound and high speed digital autocorrelation technologies to provide fetal heart rate tracking throughout the most difficult of pregnancies. It incorporates an external toco transducer to give an indication of relative contraction strength, and has a hand-held event marker for denoting fetal movement.
Features : The Fetatrack 210 is designed for ease of use and has only three controls; volume, printer on/off and UA Zero. Transducer placement is simplified by an innovative belt system which allows the transducers to be slid gently into position.

  • The unit plugs into the mains for continuous operation, but also has a built-in rechargeable battery to enable monitoring when the patient is being moved or during power emergencies.
  • Heart rate, contractions and fetal movement are recorded at speeds of 1, 2 or 3 cm per minute with chart speed, date & time printed on each page.
  • The Fetatrack 210 will store data for subsequent transmission via an optional built-in modem and telephone line or hospital network.
  • There is no limit to the number of Fetatrack 210 units that can be linked into a single system.

Fetatrack 260

The comprehensive monitoring system

Simplicity of operation, coverage of both antepartum and intrapartum applications, and the ability to provide good quality continuous recordings over long periods combine to make the Fetatrack 260 the ideal instrument for monitoring patients throughout their last trimester.
The Fetatrack 260 utilises proven ultrasound and high speed digital autocorrelation technologies to enable reliable heart rate tracking even in the most difficult of pregnancies. It incorporates an external toco transducer to give an indication of relative contraction strengths, and has a hand-held event marker to denote fetal movement.

Features :

  • Positioning of the external transducers is simplified by an innovative belt arrangement holding special flat faced transducers firmly in place for continuous monitoring.
  • Use of a fetal scalp electrode and internal pressure transducer in place of the external transducers enables continuous monitoring without the expense and inconvenience of maintaining two separate pieces of equipment.
  • Easy to use; individual panels display heart rate and contractions, ultrasound quality is shown by a change in colour of the fetal pulse lamp, and audio alarms sound in the event of bradycardia and tachycardia.
  • Internal and external monitoring; in a single unit, the Fetatrack 260 provides for both antepartum and intrapartum monitoring.
  • Simplified printing; heart rate, contractions and fetal movement are recorded at speeds of 1, 2 or 3 cm per minute, with chart speed, date & time, and mode of operation printed on each page.
  • Any number of Fetatrack 260 units can be networked with the Seward Obstetrics Management System which allows up to 16 traces to be simultaneously displayed on a 20" colour monitor and provides automatic archiving for all traces.
  • Designed and built around tried and tested technologies, all the components are easily replaceable and are covered by a comprehensive warranty.
